  1. What a semester! Many exciting things are happening but the most immediate event is my final doctoral recital coming up on Saturday April 8th at 3pm. Here are some more details:

I am thrilled to present the final installment of the cello recitals in fulfillment of my Doctor of Musical Arts at the University of Minnesota. It has been a long road 9 UNIVERSITY YEARS and 4 STATES in the making. This concert will be exceptionally special as it includes two works by my most beloved of composers, Shostakovich (a rare performance of “Two Pieces” from his Ballet Suite No. 2) and Prokofiev (Cello Sonata in C Major, Op. 119). Other works include the Beethoven Sonata for Cello and Piano No. 4 in C Major, Op. 102, No. 1.

    But wait, THERE’S MORE!
After years of passionately playing for opera and musical productions across the country, I decided to use my extra credits this year to try my hand at vocal performance. I will sing “Dolente immagine di Fille mia” by Bellini and “A Summer in Ohio” from one of my most favorite musicals, The Last Five Years.

I couldn’t have made this odyssey alone. To see and feel the support of my colleagues and friends who have been present along the way means the world to me. Join me while I kick off a lifetime of professional music making.
